A high quality giclée print of the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. Original watercolour painted by our own Chris Rickels.
The National Justice Museum (formally the Galleries of Justice – as all us Notts locals still know it fondly as) lies in the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market. There has stood on this spot a county courts since the 1300s and a jail since 1449!
Many older residents of Nottingham remember its grizzly history, and its youngsters remember warmly being shouted at, scared, thrown in the stocks and sentenced to be hanged all in the name of fun and education during the Museum’s fantastic tours.
The NJM holds particular significance to us, as a Christmassy event here back in 2015 was where we, Chris and Christine, first peddled our wares under the name Chris and Christine’s Christmas Crafts!
10×8 inch giclée print on Hahnemühle Studio Enhanced Matt 210gsm paper, signed by the artist. Framed in a simple black or white frame.
